Ridley Scott Is Making Another Blade Runner
In possibly the worst news since the announcement of a new PSP (seriously, what the fuck is up with that thing?) Director Ridley Scott has signed on to write and direct a new Blade Runner movie. Blade Runner is a damn fine movie that was made in 1982 and didn’t ever need a sequel or prequel, so why not make another one just for the fuck of it, am I right?!… huh?… Hello?
There’s no news about whether Harrison Ford will be involved or if this will be a spin-off type film ala Scott’s upcoming Prometheus, which is a semi-prequel to Alien. What the hell is Ridley Scott doing? I know he had a bad run there for a while making some fairly terrible movies, but why does he think that going back to his popular movies is going to fix everything?
So obviously I’m not happy about this news. How about you?

I wanna scream and cheer lika a kid about this news but unfortunately I think this will end up being one of those YOU DICKHEAD moments in ridley’s career.
I think Blade Runner in any version is borderline perfection so for their to be a new addition they need to capture the complete feel and experience the original gave.
Here’s hoping it turns out to be one of those prove everyone wrong moments.
